Last week an assignment was given to create a movie poster that reflects our ideal life. I had to chuckle when they said the project would only take 20 minutes. 😉
For some people, maybe.
Better late than never, the poster is finished except for adding a few nuggets from Haanel out of Lesson 7. I recall these words in paragraph 2:
Make the pattern clear and make it beautiful; do not be afraid, make it grand; remember that no limitation can be placed upon you but by anyone but yourself; you are not limited as to cost or material; draw on the Infinite for your supply …Haanel
So I did.
As I look at the representation of my desires, I see there is a choice to make. Do I view them from the personal or the impersonal? From my understanding or Infinite Understanding? Haanel calls it a privilege — I can depend on my human will with all its limitations and misconceptions OR utilize the potentialities of Infinity by making use of the subconscious mind with the infinite resources and methods at its command.
Wow. I love the power and encouragement of that idea. Hopefully, I’m learning to understand, appreciate, recognize, and apply it.
My poster represents many wonderful things for me. It’s ambitious, and I’m not getting any younger, so Subby needs to get crackin’!
Speaking of things to get crackin’ on, I have a recording to make.
It’s another 20-minute project that might get done by next week. 😉
