Master Key Experience v2 — Week 11

Whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Wow, what a statement from Jesus himself, who uttered nothing but the truth. I do not want to misconstrue the meaning of scripture or view God as a servant to indulge my every whim, but I have desires that represent the highest expression of my life.

His words seem simple, clear, and direct. Whatever I ask. Believe. It will be mine.

As I sat with this Bible verse in the context of the things I desire to manifest, my past struggles with prayer were part of the picture. Honestly, prayer has been difficult at best and the root of much disillusionment. Words sufficient to express my heart were too hard to find, and their results questionable. I lay the blame on God, but the more I study the mind, it likely rests with me.

Whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Did, or do, I truly believe? Did, or do, my desires burn hot enough to ignite Omnipotent Power? Those are great questions. I believe in the power of God — I was just unsure of the will of God.

Perhaps I missed the turn from Insecurity Street to Confidence Boulevard.

Haanel makes the point time and time again, and in every way imaginable, that any ideal persistently held cannot help but manifest in our reality.

Whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

I’m asking, building my belief muscle, and anticipating the day of possession.

  1. Yep, I understand! Sitting with this verse and pondering it for most of the week, I observed a couple things about myself. Yes, I believe but don I believe I have received? That is the missing component I found. Working on it… bilding an dtoning the muscle!
    Thanks for sharing, Randy!
