Master Key Experience v2 — Week 10

In this lesson, Haanel discusses the barrier that stands between the inorganic world and the organic world and the parallel barrier between the Natural World and the Spiritual World.

Aside from the fact that it’s wintertime and everything is dormant anyway, the boxes of dirt in my back yard can do nothing in and of themselves to create life. There is no hope of vitality or fruitful production until spring when I drop a seed into that dirt.

The door to the Spiritual World is shut tight from my side. No energy or effort of any kind allows me or any other human to open it and cross the threshold. The only hope for vitality or fruitful production is for Spirit to open the door.

What a wondrous miracle and blessing that It did.

Just as the plant reaches down into the mineral world and touches it with the mystery of Life, so the Universal Mind reaches down into the human mind and endows it with new, strange, wonderful, and even marvelous qualities.

Haanel

I stand as a gardener between the inorganic and the Spiritual. In the same way that I plant a seed and the soil begins to nurture it, I drop thought into the invisible substance of the Universal Mind where it takes root and the Law Of Growth begins to take effect.

A good gardener expects to tend the plot by holding the weeds at bay and keeping conditions harmonious so the plants can thrive.

I water the thoughts planted in my spiritual garden with repetition, fertilize them with emotion, and keep a mental hoe ready to uproot anything contrary to the ideal.

  1. I used to get so concerned about the weeds, I ended up over tending my garden. From your blog: … keep a mental hoe ready to uproot anything contrary to the ideal.

Recently found myself doing the old routine. Thank you for the reminder. Appreciate your words!
