My career as a professional photographer spanned four decades and several different capacities. Of it all, my first love was the black and white pictures I took for daily newspapers from 1977 to 1992.
Forty years later, these pictures became the fodder for my Light & Shadow blogs — a photo and random musings about it each week for a year. The results were then published in a beautiful coffee table book.
In addition to photography, I love big fish on a flyrod. I am thrilled by fast, sexy machines and soulful guitars. The thought of flying in a P51 Mustang or powering a Porsche as fast as I can through a road course makes my heart race. I bow at the feet of David Gilmour. Every note he’s ever played was the right one.
